ROLE: FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
REPORTING TO: CEO
ABOUT MOVE IRELAND
Move Ireland delivers a group program called CHOICES, a National
Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programme (DVPP) to men across Ireland.
The programme established in * and funded
primarily by the Department of Justice and Equality has a clear vision
of families free and safe from abuse and all its forms and an
overriding goal to promote the safety and wellbeing of women and their
children, who have experienced violence and abuse in their intimate
relationships.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of the role is to support the Board and CEO in the
execution of their duties and to provide financial administrative
support to Move.
This is a four-day post, based in Moves new office in Clonmel, Co
Tipperary. There is a possibility of part of this work being
undertaken remotely.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
CEO / BOARD SUPPORT
* Dealing with all incoming queries for the CEO
* Provide financial reports to the Board and CEO
ADMINISTRATION
* -Maintain all supplier contracts and other documentation in line
with GDPR
* General office management admin (facilities and supplier liaison)
* Ensure all records are updated and managed appropriately on the
Finance system (SAGE)
FINANCE
* Process SAGE payroll
* Ensure all invoices are logged and paid as appropriate
* Monthly Bank reconciliation
* Provide a monthly finance report (budget versus actual) to the CEO
* Management of petty cash transactions
* Reconciliation of direct debits and finance accounts
* Prepare financial reports for Board meetings
* Prepare books for accountant
* Complete quarterly SAGE returns for Department of Justice
* Complete biannual returns to Pobal
* About You 3 years’ experience in a similar role with
flexibility, reliability, and particular initiative to meet deadline,
(Essential).
* Systems focused with an eye on continued process improvement and
possess efficiencies necessary for growth
* Demonstrated relationship management skills and experience in
working in supportive manner on financial matters.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* 3 years’ experience in using SAGE and SAGE pay role software
essential.
* Excellent attention to detail, organizational, administrative and
time management skills.
* Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft advanced Excel.
* An understanding of the GDPR and its application to the work of
Move
